Led Zeppelin were an English rock band who are widely regarded as one of the most influential bands of all time. Formed in 1968, they were consistent innovators who never lost mainstream appeal. While the band is perhaps best known as pioneers of the hard rock and heavy metal genres, Led Zeppelin also included disparate elements from an eclectic spectrum in their music, including blues, rockabilly, reggae, soul, funk, Celtic, Indian, Arabic, folk, and even Latin.
