James Patrick 'Jimmy' Page, OBE (born January 9, 1944) is an English musician and widely considered to be one of the greatest and most influential guitarists in rock music history. He was the founding member of Led Zeppelin and, prior to that, a member of The Yardbirds from late 1966 through 1968. Before joining the Yardbirds, Page had been one of the most in-demand studio guitarists in England since his teenage years.
