Graham Parker (born November 18, 1950 in London) is an English rock singer and songwriter. His earliest albums were recorded with The Rumour, a rock-solid collection of pub rock vets unmatched in their verve and rhythmic support. They helped ground the songs in early r-and-b, giving Parker's music much of its power. Later Parker albums have been done with a variety of musicians, though at least two Rumour regulars have often been part of the mix.
