Gore Gore Girls are a garage rock band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 1997. The Gore Gore Girls first line-up included Amy Surdu on vocals and guitar, Paula Regalado on bass guitar, and Jeff Klein on drums. Klein left before their first single was released. The band's name comes from the title of a 1972 B-movie by Herschell Gordon Lewis, which is a parody of the term Go Go Girls. Their first single ""Mama in the Movies"" gained favourable airplay on college radio stations in Michigan.
