From Autumn to Ashes, or FATA, is an American Rock outfit from Long Island. The band mixes melodic riffing with post-hardcore and metalcore, and two songs from two their albums occasionally feature Melanie Wills, of the band One True Thing, on vocals, as well as their own vocalist, Fran (Francis) Mark (and Ben Perri on previous albums). A majority of the band's current line-up attended Patchogue-Medford High School in Medford, NY on Long Island.
